Hi everyone, I need a suggestion. Many people are advising me to buy Alsvin instead of Swift, but honestly I had a very bad experience with a Chinese car before (I had FAW V2 and its quality was very poor). That’s why I usually avoid Chinese cars. If anyone here is currently using Changan Alsvin, please share your honest experience about: • Overall build quality • Spare parts availability• • Maintenance cost• • Reliability in the long run • resale

We have alsvin since 2022 clocked 50K .. went good so far. Average is good aswell .. no issues with he quality and reliability so far but maintenance cost is high as parts are not easily available in local market. I would recommend too

Don't buy a Chinese car, you will suffer big switching from a Japanese car, Japanese are reliable, Alsvin is more expensive to maintain than a Corolla, even parts of Corolla are cheaper than Alsvin.. other than that why don't you go for a Toyota Raize X package 2021 model in 49,50 Lacs range.

Your experience could be different. But i used Faw V2 for over 3 years and ran it for 80K KM and had absolutely zero issues. Used it aggressively on GT Roads Motorways Mountains and it was as reliable as any other car.

2021-2023 models are a big NO. They have manufacturing faults do avoid these model. However 2024-2025 models are relatively faults free but parts are expensive. The car is good value for money though. Swift is overpriced but is a good resale option a d basic car with good mileage. Choice is yours.
