Which car? How long have you driven it with 20W-50? Switch immediately to 10W-40 and keep switching down one step at a time until you reach the recommended oil grade for your car. (Check owners manual). Keep a close eye on it to make sure there are no issues.

Use 10/40 if after 5k kms your engine oil is still full then you can gradually go down to 10/30. If at any point after 4-5k kms your engine oil level drop then engine is worn and you need to go one level above.

I read your comment jis sy purchase ki thy wo 20/50 use kr rha tha ho skta ha k meter reversed ho aur oil gari km kr rhi ho that's why he used 20/50. Consult a good knowledgeable mechanic before switching to 10 40 or any other viscosity
