Lately, people are concerned about fuel choices, especially Hi-Octane. However, based on available information, Kia Sportage and Kia Sorento are optimized for RON 91 fuel. The same detail is mentioned on the fuel cap and in the owner’s guide, so Hi-Octane isn’t essential.

Bassam Naeem in Pakistan, we mainly have two categories of fuel available: regular petrol (RON 91–95) and Hi-Octane. Most cars on our roads are designed to run perfectly fine on RON 91 or 92, and at most RON 95. Only engines with high compression ratios (around 11:0:1 or higher) truly require Hi-Octane fuel.
