The good & the bad
The good
- ▲The convertible rear deck is genuinely unique in this market - a five-seat SUV that becomes a pickup without tools
- ▲440 kW and 645 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 3.96 seconds
- ▲240 kW DC charging, 30-80 per cent in 15 minutes - among the fastest available here
- ▲89.98 kWh is a large battery by Pakistani standards, and 590 km NEDC reflects it
- ▲600 mm wading depth, which is more than most body-on-frame SUVs claim
- ▲6.6 kW vehicle-to-load, so the car can power tools or a camp
- ▲A 131-litre front boot on top of the main load space
- ▲Comprehensive ADAS and a 360 camera with transparent-chassis view as standard
The bad
- ▼590 km is an NEDC figure, and NEDC is the most lenient cycle in common use - the real-world number will be considerably lower, especially with air conditioning
- ▼240 kW DC charging needs infrastructure that barely exists outside Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad; on a 6.6 kW AC supply an 89.98 kWh battery is an overnight job and then some
- ▼At PKR 1.9 crore it is priced where very few buyers are
- ▼265/45 R21 tyres are expensive to replace and vulnerable on poor surfaces
- ▼183 mm of ground clearance is modest for something marketed on its wading depth
- ▼A retracting roof and bulkhead is mechanism that a conventional SUV does not have, and long-term durability in dust and heat is unproven here
