Kia Stonic 2026 Fuel Average, Price and Specs in Pakistan
From PKR 5,499,000ex-factory, 2 variants on sale
The Kia Stonic fuel average in Pakistan is 11.8 to 12 km/l in the city and 16.2 to 16.5 km/l on the highway, across the 2 versions on sale in 2026. Combined, that works out to about 14 km/l.
Pakistan has no mandatory fuel-economy test, so no figure here is a certified one. These come from owner reports and, where a car is too new for those, from the same engine measured in comparable conditions abroad - each page says which.

The all-new Kia Stonic 1.0 Turbo replaces a naturally aspirated 1.4 with a 998 cc turbo three and a seven-speed dual-clutch, and costs less than the car it replaces. Torque climbs from 133 Nm to 172 Nm and arrives 2,500 rpm earlier, six airbags and stability control are standard on both trims, and the base Turbo X now gets the cruise control, camera and parking sensors the old base car went without. Kia publishes no fuel-economy figure, and with deliveries starting in November 2026 nobody has driven one far enough to report a real one.

The good & the bad
The good
▲The cheapest turbocharged, dual-clutch, six-airbag crossover on sale in Pakistan at PKR 54.99 lacs
▲172 Nm from 1,500 rpm against the old car's 133 Nm at 4,000 - the engine no longer feels undersized for the body
▲Six airbags, stability control, hill-start assist and ISOFIX standard on both trims, where several rivals at this money still offer two airbags
▲The base Turbo X gains cruise control, a reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors, none of which the old base EX had
▲Kia Lucky Motors has one of the better-developed networks among the non-Japanese brands, with coverage beyond Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad
▲Locally assembled CKD with a 4-year or 100,000 km warranty
▲Owners of the outgoing car rate build quality and cabin materials 5 out of 5, and that carries over
The bad
▼A seven-speed dual-clutch replaces a torque-converter automatic. Dual-clutch gearboxes are the known weak point of this class in Pakistani stop-start traffic, and the old Stonic's conventional automatic was one of its quiet virtues
▼No fuel-economy figure exists. Kia publishes none, and no owner has driven one yet - anyone quoting a km/l for this car today is guessing
▼Rear seat space is the most consistent complaint about the outgoing car, and the new one shares its 2,580 mm wheelbase
▼The suspension was already criticised as firm over broken urban roads, and the first drives of the new car report it is firmer still
▼No driver assistance of any kind - no autonomous emergency braking, no lane keeping, no blind-spot monitoring, whatever aggregator spec tables claim
▼The PKR 4 lac Turbo S premium buys only lighting, a sunroof, wheels and trim. Nothing mechanical and nothing in safety
▼Pakistan has no crash-test programme, so there is no independent safety rating for the locally assembled car
▼Owners of the outgoing car report a roughly one-second hesitation shifting from first to second, and engine knock on regular petrol that needed a dealer software update to clear. Both the engine and the gearbox are new, but they are worth listening for on a test drive

Key points
The all-new Stonic launched in Pakistan on 1 October 2026 at PKR 54.99 lacs for the Turbo X and PKR 58.99 lacs for the Turbo S, with deliveries from November 2026.
It replaces the 1.4-litre EX and EX+, which are discontinued - this is a new generation, not an added variant.
The Turbo S undercuts the outgoing EX+ by PKR 1 lac, and the Turbo X comes in PKR 5 lacs below it with more standard equipment.
Both 1.0 Turbo trims share the same mechanicals: 998 cc turbo three-cylinder, 100 PS, 172 Nm from 1,500 rpm, seven-speed dual-clutch, front-wheel drive.
Six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, multi-collision brake and ISOFIX are standard on both - the PKR 4 lac Turbo S premium buys no extra safety equipment.
Kia Pakistan publishes no fuel-economy figure for either engine, and no owner data exists yet for the turbo.
Both trims carry six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, hill-start assist control, a multi-collision brake system and ISOFIX child anchors as standard. Front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera are fitted to both.
There is no driver-assistance package of any kind. No autonomous emergency braking, no lane-keeping or lane-departure warning, no blind-spot monitoring, no adaptive cruise control and no surround-view camera are offered on any Pakistani Stonic, despite aggregator specification tables listing all of them.
Pakistan has no NCAP programme and no crash-testing facility, so the locally assembled car carries no independent safety rating. No rating from another market has been applied to it here, because the Pakistani specification and build are not the tested vehicle.

The Kia Stonic fuel average in Pakistan is 11.8 to 12 km/l in the city and 16.2 to 16.5 km/l on the highway, which works out to roughly 13.7 to 14 km/l combined across the two variants on sale. Those are projections, not measurements: Kia Pakistan publishes no fuel figure for the Stonic and deliveries of the 1.0 Turbo began in November 2026, so no Pakistani owner data exists yet. The projections come from the same 998 cc T-GDI engine and seven-speed DCT measured in comparable conditions abroad, chiefly the Kia Sonet in India.
What is the fuel average of the Kia Stonic 1.0 Turbo?
Both 1.0 Turbo variants share one engine - 998 cc, 100 PS, 172 Nm, seven-speed dual-clutch - so they differ only by wheel size. The 1.0 Turbo X on 16-inch wheels is projected at 12 km/l city and 16.5 km/l highway; the 1.0 Turbo S on 17-inch wheels at 11.8 and 16.2. Kia's own certified figure for this exact 100 PS engine is 17.2 km/l combined on Europe's WLTP cycle, which is a laboratory number Pakistani conditions will not reproduce.
What is the fuel average of the Kia Stonic Turbo X?
The Kia Stonic 1.0 Turbo X fuel average is projected at 12 km/l in the city and 16.5 km/l on the highway, about 14 km/l combined. In heavy traffic with the air conditioning on, expect closer to 9 km/l. On its 45-litre tank that is roughly 540 km of city driving between fills. No Pakistani owner figures exist yet.
What is the fuel average of the Kia Stonic Turbo S?
The Kia Stonic 1.0 Turbo S fuel average is projected at 11.8 km/l in the city and 16.2 km/l on the highway, about 13.7 km/l combined - roughly 2 per cent behind the Turbo X. The difference is the 17-inch wheels, which is the same gap Kia publishes between the two wheel sizes in the UK. Nothing else about the powertrain differs.
What is the price of the Kia Stonic in Pakistan?
The all-new Stonic launched on 1 October 2026 at PKR 54,99,000 for the Turbo X and PKR 58,99,000 for the Turbo S, ex-factory and excluding withholding tax, freight and insurance. Deliveries begin in November 2026.
What is the difference between the Stonic Turbo X and Turbo S?
Nothing mechanical and nothing in safety - both use the same 998 cc turbo engine, seven-speed dual-clutch and six-airbag package. The PKR 4 lac premium buys LED projection headlamps and fog lamps, a dynamic welcome light, a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, 17-inch wheels instead of 16, 18 mm more ground clearance, a smart key with push-button start, an electro-chromic mirror, part-leather two-tone trim and metal pedals.
Is the old 1.4 Kia Stonic still on sale?
No. The EX and EX+ were discontinued when the all-new Turbo X and Turbo S launched on 1 October 2026. The new base car is PKR 5 lacs cheaper than the outgoing EX+ and better equipped.
Does the Kia Stonic have a sunroof?
Only the Turbo S, which gets a power tilt-and-slide sunroof. The Turbo X does not. Neither has a panoramic roof, whatever some listings claim.
How many airbags does the Kia Stonic have?
Six, on both the Turbo X and the Turbo S, along with ABS, electronic stability control, hill-start assist and ISOFIX anchors.
Does the Kia Stonic have ADAS or lane-keep assist?
No. No Pakistani Stonic offers autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring or adaptive cruise control. Specification tables on some car websites list these; they are wrong.
