Suzuki Cultus 2024 Fuel Average, Price and Specs in Pakistan

From PKR 4,359,160 ex-factory, 3 variants on sale

The Suzuki Cultus fuel average in Pakistan is 13 to 14 km/l in the city and 16.5 to 18 km/l on the highway, across the 3 versions on sale in 2024. Combined, that works out to about 15.6 km/l.

Pakistan has no mandatory fuel-economy test, so no figure here is a certified one. These come from owner reports and, where a car is too new for those, from the same engine measured in comparable conditions abroad - each page says which.

The good & the bad

The good

  • ▲Running costs are low and parts are cheap and available in every city; the K10B engine has been in the local market since 2014
  • ▲Genuinely economical for a 1000 cc five-seat hatchback, close to much smaller cars
  • ▲Substantially more usable than the Alto - five seats, a proper 35-litre tank, more cabin and boot space - while still small enough for congested streets
  • ▲Strong resale, helped by the Suzuki badge and nationwide service coverage
  • ▲Simple and light, so it is nimble in traffic and forgiving on fuel
  • ▲Since the April 2025 update, dual airbags and ABS are fitted even to the base car

The bad

  • ▼The design is obsolete. The second-generation Celerio dates to 2014, has been replaced globally, and was never sophisticated to begin with
  • ▼Its future is uncertain. Two of three variants were cut on 1 September 2026 with no explanation, which raises real questions about long-term parts and residuals for a car bought new today
  • ▼There is now no automatic option at all
  • ▼Crash protection is a serious concern. There is no NCAP rating for the Pakistan-assembled car, and Global NCAP rated the Indian-market Celerio's bodyshell unstable
  • ▼No stability control on any variant, and the airbag count tops out at two
  • ▼Thin sheet metal and light construction - panels dent easily and the car feels flimsy at speed
  • ▼Poor highway refinement, with a noisy three-cylinder under load and instability in crosswinds
  • ▼The price has roughly doubled in a few years with no corresponding change to the product
