MG Binguo EV 2026 pros & cons
✓ What we like
The cheapest EV in MG's Pakistani range, and priced against petrol hatchbacks rather than other electric cars
Lithium ferro-phosphate chemistry with an IP67 rating - longer-lived and more heat-tolerant than the nickel chemistries, which suits the climate here
DC charging 30-80 per cent in about 35 minutes; a normal AC charge 20-100 per cent takes about 5.5 hours
Twin 10.25-inch full-colour screens, electric parking brake with auto hold, ESC, ABS with EBD, rear camera and sensors, ISOFIX and TPMS - a well-equipped small car
790 litres of luggage space with the seats folded, and 15 separate storage spaces
Vehicle warranty 5 years or 100,000 km; battery 8 years or 150,000 km
✕ What we don't like
333 km is the CLTC figure, and CLTC is a lenient cycle - expect meaningfully less in Pakistani traffic, with air conditioning running
50 kW and a 120 km/h top speed make this a city car; it is not built for long motorway runs
Two airbags only, driver and passenger
15-inch steel wheels with covers, not alloys
Charging away from home still depends on infrastructure that is thin outside the big cities
MG Binguo EV 2026 overview
The MG Binguo EV is a compact electric city car and the cheapest electric vehicle MG sells in Pakistan, at PKR 56.99 lacs.
It is small on purpose: 3,950 mm long on a 2,560 mm wheelbase, 15-inch wheels, a 50 kW motor and a 120 km/h top speed. The brief is a daily commute rather than a motorway run.
The battery is 31.9 kWh of lithium ferro-phosphate - the chemistry that trades some energy density for a longer service life and better tolerance of heat, which matters in Pakistan. MG quotes up to 333 km on the CLTC cycle.
One variant is offered, the PRO.

Engine and performance
A single 50 kW motor driving the front wheels through a single reduction gear, with 125 Nm of torque and a 120 km/h top speed.
The battery is 31.9 kWh of lithium ferro-phosphate, IP67 rated, which MG markets as MAGIC Battery technology. Quoted range is up to 333 km on CLTC. Charging is CCS2: about 35 minutes for 30-80 per cent on DC, or about 5.5 hours for 20-100 per cent on AC.
An electric car has no km/l figure, so none is shown; what this site records for a BEV is the battery size and the quoted range, with the cycle named.
