Corolla Altis 1.6 SR 2011-2014 vs Rebirth Oriel Prosmatic I have to down grade from Civic X due to some financial constraints, wanted to get a brand new swift GLX but rn that is not in my budget. In search of a good and fast selling car under 4 million PKR. I am thinking Rebirth, reliable, not many known issues, great drive but idk if it is fast selling Corolla is heavier on fuel I have heard but sells fast but is also hard to find, for clean ones people are demanding 40+ for a 13-15 year old corolla Fuel average, comfort, braking, reliability all are of concern to me. Biggest one is resale. If I buy any one of the two for a high will that be justified at the time for selling?

Your research is wrong, Corolla is reliable with fuel efficiency while civic is sensitive and specifically rebirth is not fuel efficient.... Rebirth drive is no doubt far better but parts, fuel economy, resale, reliability are all positive points of Corolla only

Corolla sr undoubtedly gives better milage & better reliability than Rebirth.

First of all, it is difficult to find a good corolla 1.6/1.8. Jo hoti hain to log kaafi zyaada demand krtey hen unki. I’ve kept all generations of civic from reborn.

Altis 1.6 Sr is such an underrated gem, me as a honda lover and a previous rebirth owner would choose altis 1.6 Sr without any hesitation but the only problem is that Altis market is crazy right now people be asking 4m 4.2m and the one's in 3m bracket are somewhat rough. Which instantly is a let down. But if you manage to find a clean one within your range then go for Altis. Otherwise Rebirth is also a really good option. Both have equal fuel consumption. Rebirth's interior is better. At the end of the day it all comes down to finding a good deal within your budget

You can get swift GL in your range maybe it will cost you around 38-40 depends on car condition

I would suggest go for the corolla gli / 1.6 2014+ model. It's room is spacious and also it is a newer gen.

Go for altis 1.6 manual it has amazing fuel average as it equipped with 6 speed manual gear box,resale wise its better then rebirth.

1.6 SR is not heavier on fuel actually contrary it is slightly better in city and similar for highway travel, it is extremely reliable and comfortable. Braking would likely be slightly worse. Finding one in decent condition would be a hassle and one that is in good condition won't be cheap. A friend sold one for 33 like 3 years ago and it has only increased in price.

My 2013 rebirth gives 13 local,my cousins 2010 sr gives the same if not sometimes more on light foot

Rebirths resale will be comparatively better then altis sr and people tend to demand too much for altis sr so rebirths are a better and newer option (full option ones)

I have Altis 1.6 2013 Auto, it gives me 11-11.5 within city (which i think there is a space of more improvement), Reliability and maintenance is very good and cheap, respectively. Comfort is also good, but handling and grip wise rebirth is good, You can get good altis SR within 35. And both cars are literally cash if you maintain them nicely. As per my knowledge, Go for Altis SR E140 the drive pleasure, comfort, road grip is very good of this generation better than grande road grip wise, on light foot in city you can easily get 11,12 KM/L average, in highway if you cruise at 100-110 you can easily get 15,16. Other than this reliability wise Toyota is always superior, if you want lil bit extra power go with Rebirth, though suspension is a bit stiff, you can even feel small potholes. But handling, road grip is great. Average usually goes around 9-10, also maintenance is very expensive for any Honda unfortunately, for Toyota you always have a choice which type of quality parts you would like to install other than this resale there is no comparison this 9th Gen Toyota is like a hot cake, even if you rome around city someone will randomly ask you "Bhai Bech Rhe ho" also people are crazy for this model compared to E170, 10 Gen Corolla. My suggestion is if you can find a well maintained Corolla or Civic go for it. Keep in mind Civic is expensive to maintain & poor resale.
