BYD Seal (EV) Dynamic 2026 Model Range, Battery and Running Cost

Range and efficiency

We do not have measured fuel figures for this variant yet. Pakistan has no mandatory fuel-economy test and this car's maker publishes none, so the only honest source is owners — and we have not gathered enough of them for this version. Rather than print an estimate dressed as a measurement, this page shows what is verified: the specifications below.
EV range: up to 570 km (reported spec). Store km/kWh later; km/l fields kept 0. | BYD began selling imported EVs in Pakistan March 2025; Seal range up to ~570 km (spec). Set start 2025. Premium trim. 82.56 kWh Blade LFP. BYD Pakistan says up to 650 km while the launch release said 570 km - neither names a test cycle. A Dynamic trim (61.44 kWh, 201 hp) is also sold. The Performance trim is NOT officially sold in Pakistan.

The good & the bad

The good

  • ▲The 82.56 kWh Blade pack in the Premium gives a 650 km claim - by a wide margin the longest-range car BYD sells in Pakistan, enough to make Lahore to Islamabad a non-event
  • ▲Rear-wheel drive with a low, structurally integrated battery gives it a genuinely different character from the front-drive crossovers that dominate this price band
  • ▲The Premium's 5.9-second 0 to 100 km/h is quick by any Pakistani standard
  • ▲Cell-to-Body construction and LFP Blade chemistry are a real engineering advantage in a hot climate
  • ▲Equipment is comprehensive at the price - head-up display, ventilated and memory front seats, panoramic glass roof, multi-sensor driver assistance
  • ▲The distributor is a substantial listed company with its own charging subsidiary, not a thinly capitalised importer

The bad

  • ▼This is a very large sum to commit to a brand with roughly eighteen months of trading history in Pakistan and no established residual value. Resale is a genuine unknown, not a cautious hedge
  • ▼Sales volume is minimal - no published owner reviews and a handful of used listings nationwide - so there is almost no local knowledge about what goes wrong, what parts cost, or how long they take to arrive
  • ▼Service is confined to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. For a car at this price that is a serious limitation, with no independent specialist network to fall back on
  • ▼Every unit is imported; body panels and high-voltage components come by sea from China, and an accident repair can immobilise the car for weeks
  • ▼Battery serviceability over ten years is untested here, and no local price for that work exists
  • ▼Public DC charging exists in three cities. A 650 km claim is worth little if the only chargers on your route are at either end of it, and home charging is hostage to load-shedding
  • ▼BYD's own Sealion 7 undercuts the Seal Premium with the same battery in a body style Pakistani buyers prefer - the Seal is being squeezed from inside its own showroom
