Where these figures come from:
Pakistan has no mandatory fuel-economy test and Toyota publishes no local consumption figure, so this is projected from owner-reported figures already held on this site for the same engine and gearbox, rather than presented as a certified number. Same 2,7
The city and highway averages above are reported figures; the AC and speed
breakdown is estimated from them, not separately measured. Real-world mileage
varies with traffic, load, tyre pressure and fuel quality.

One engine across six variants makes this an unusually easy range to shop: you are choosing equipment and wheels, not powertrain. The Hilux E at PKR 1,13,79,000 is the honest working truck - steel wheels, halogens, manual, no screen - and nothing about it is pretending otherwise. The step that actually changes the vehicle is to the automatic, because a six-speed auto in a loaded one-tonne pickup is worth far more in daily use than any of the trim above it. From there the V, Rocco and GR-S are increasingly cosmetic: the GR-S at PKR 1,58,39,000 buys a sports bar, badging and GR-design alloys over a Rocco that is mechanically identical. Three airbags including a knee airbag is better than the Corolla manages, which remains the strangest thing about Toyota's Pakistani range.

The good & the bad
The good
▲One engine across the range, so the choice is equipment rather than powertrain and every variant has the same 2,755 cc diesel
▲Three SRS airbags including a driver knee airbag, which is more than the Corolla sedan offers
▲Vehicle stability control, anti-lock braking and ISOFIX anchors on every variant including the entry Hilux E
▲An 80-litre tank and a 3,090 mm wheelbase
▲310 mm of ground clearance on the GR-S
▲The panoramic view monitor from the Revo V upwards is genuinely useful on a vehicle this size
▲Toyota's dealer network and the Hilux's resale value, which are the two reasons most buyers choose it
The bad
▼PKR 44.6 lacs separates the cheapest and dearest versions of what is mechanically the same vehicle
▼The GR-S over the Rocco is almost entirely cosmetic - a sports bar, badging and different alloys
▼The Hilux E has no multi-information display, no daytime running lamps, no drive modes and no drive start control
▼No adaptive cruise control, lane keeping or autonomous braking anywhere in the range
▼A leaf-sprung working pickup rides accordingly when unladen
▼5,325 mm long on the GR-S is a great deal of vehicle for city parking
▼No independent crash rating exists for the vehicle sold here

Safety
What is known about this car's safety in Pakistan
Three SRS airbags on every Hilux and Revo - driver, passenger and a driver knee airbag. Toyota's own sheet lists the knee airbag as present on all six variants, marked "Driver (New)" on the Hilux E.
Also standard across the range: ISOFIX child seat anchors, vehicle stability control and anti-lock braking.
That is a better baseline than the Corolla sedan manages, which carries two airbags and no stability control on its cheapest variant.
The variants diverge on driver aids rather than restraints. The Revo V, Rocco and GR-S add a panoramic view monitor - a genuine help on a 5,325 mm vehicle - along with Bi-Beam LED projector headlamps and daytime running lamps. Drive start control appears from the Revo G M/T upwards, and the airbag indicator and tyre turning angle display from the same point; the Hilux E goes without all three.
There is no adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist or autonomous emergency braking on any Hilux sold here.
Pakistan has no NCAP programme, so the vehicle sold here carries no independent crash rating.

What engine does the Toyota Hilux E have?
A 1GD-FTV D-4D turbo diesel of 2,755 cc - the same engine as every other Hilux and Revo. Toyota's own specification sheet lists it under model code GUN126R-DPFLXP with the same displacement as the rest of the range.
How many airbags does the Toyota Hilux Revo have?
Three on every variant - driver, passenger and a driver knee airbag.
What is the fuel average of the Toyota Hilux Revo?
Owners record about 9.5 km/l in the city and 12.0 on the highway from the Hilux E, about 9.0 and 11.5 from the Revo G manual, and about 8.5 and 11.0 from the automatics. A loaded pickup will return less.
What is the difference between the Revo Rocco and GR-S?
Mechanically nothing - same engine, same six-speed automatic, same four-wheel drive. The GR-S adds a sports bar, GR-Sport badging, a GR-engraved steering wheel, smart LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, piano-black fog lamp bezels and GR-S design alloys, for PKR 9.7 lacs more.
Which Toyota Hilux should I buy?
The step that changes the vehicle most is to the automatic, which is worth more in daily use than any trim above it. The Revo G A/T at PKR 1,29,39,000 is the sensible middle. The Hilux E is the honest working truck if you do not need the equipment.

Does the Toyota Hilux have a 360-degree camera?
The Revo V, Rocco and GR-S have a panoramic view monitor. The Hilux E and the two G variants do not.
