BYD Shark 6 2026 Fuel Average, Price and Specs in Pakistan
From PKR 19,950,000ex-factory
The BYD Shark 6 fuel average in Pakistan is 8.5 km/l in the city and 10.5 km/l on the highway, for the single version on sale in 2026. Combined, that works out to about 9.3 km/l.
Pakistan has no mandatory fuel-economy test, so no figure here is a certified one. These come from owner reports and, where a car is too new for those, from the same engine measured in comparable conditions abroad - each page says which.

▲321 kW (431 hp) and 650 Nm make it comfortably the most powerful pickup ever sold new in Pakistan, with a 5.7-second 0 to 100 km/h no diesel double-cab can approach
▲About 100 km of pure electric range means most urban use happens on electricity, and the 60-litre tank plus engine gives a claimed 800 km combined - no range anxiety at all
▲The dual-motor electronic all-wheel-drive system delivers instant torque at each axle without a transfer case, and 230 mm of unladen ground clearance is genuinely useful on Pakistani roads
▲Interior equipment is far beyond anything in the local pickup class - 25-inch digital cluster, 12-speaker audio, wireless smartphone mirroring, autonomous emergency braking
▲Vehicle-to-Load turns it into a mobile generator, which has obvious value during load-shedding and on site
▲The Blade LFP battery suits sustained heat, and the petrol engine removes dependence on a charging network that barely exists
The bad
▼Rs 1.99 crore buys a pickup with no low range, no mechanical transfer case and a 2,710 kg kerb weight. Buyers expecting Hilux-style workhorse capability are buying the wrong vehicle
▼Payload and towing ratings for the Pakistani specification are not published by the distributor, which is an extraordinary gap for a vehicle sold as a pickup
▼Imported at the top of BYD's local range, with a complex drivetrain - two motors, a turbo petrol engine and a high-voltage pack - that has far more to go wrong than a diesel Hilux, and none of the roadside-mechanic fallback a Hilux has anywhere in the country
▼Service is three cities only. A pickup is precisely the vehicle people take to places with no dealer, and nobody outside those cities can service this drivetrain
▼Resale is completely unproven at this price point. Pakistan's used pickup market is built on Toyota diesel residuals, and there is no evidence it will absorb a Chinese plug-in hybrid at this money
▼Excluded from the September 2026 relief on both counts - plug-in and imported - so it carries 25 percent sales tax while locally assembled hybrids dropped to 18
▼Long-term battery serviceability is untested, and a 29.58 kWh pack integrated into a pickup's structure is not something any Pakistani workshop is equipped to repair
