Where these figures come from:
Pakistan has no mandatory fuel-economy test and Toyota publishes no local consumption figure, so this is projected from owner-reported figures already held on this site for the same engine and gearbox, rather than presented as a certified number. Carried
The city and highway averages above are reported figures; the AC and speed
breakdown is estimated from them, not separately measured. Real-world mileage
varies with traffic, load, tyre pressure and fuel quality.

Combined average is 13.8 kmpl.
Read the tax column before the price column. Toyota charges 18 per cent sales tax on the Yaris 1.3 GLi MT, GLi CVT and ATIV MT, and 25 per cent on the ATIV CVT and both 1.5s. The practical effect is strange: the GLi manual to GLi automatic step costs PKR 1.6 lacs, but the ATIV manual to ATIV automatic step costs PKR 8.9 lacs for exactly the same gearbox. If you want an automatic Yaris, the GLi CVT at PKR 48,09,000 is the sane buy and the ATIV CVT at PKR 57,19,000 is very hard to justify. If you want ATIV equipment and can drive a manual, the ATIV MT at PKR 48,29,000 is the bargain of the range. Three airbags including a knee airbag is better than the Corolla above it manages, which says more about the Corolla than the Yaris.

▲Three SRS airbags including a driver knee airbag - more than the Corolla Altis above it offers at any price
▲A 476-litre boot, which is larger than several cars a class above
▲Stability control, traction control, hill assist, a rear camera and rear parking sensors on every variant
▲Six variants means there is usually one at the exact budget, including a cheap automatic in the GLi CVT
▲The ATIV MT at PKR 48,29,000 gets ATIV equipment at an 18 per cent tax rate
▲Toyota's dealer network and parts availability remain the broadest in Pakistan
▲A 2,550 mm wheelbase gives better rear space than the exterior suggests
The bad
▼The 25 per cent tax band makes the ATIV CVT PKR 8.9 lacs more than the ATIV MT for a gearbox that costs PKR 1.6 lacs on the GLi
▼No driver-assistance equipment of any kind - no blind-spot monitor, no lane keeping, no autonomous braking
▼The 1.3 engine is modest for the weight once the car is loaded
▼A 42-litre tank is small, so range is limited despite decent economy
▼185/60 R15 tyres and 15-inch wheels look plain against newer rivals on 16s and 17s
▼No independent crash rating exists for the car sold here
▼Toyota publishes no local fuel-economy figure

Key points
Six variants from PKR 46,49,000 to PKR 60,49,000 - the cheapest new Toyota car in Pakistan.
Three SRS airbags on every variant: driver, passenger and driver knee.
Sales tax is 18% on the 1.3 GLi MT, GLi CVT and ATIV MT, and 25% on the ATIV CVT and both 1.5s.
That tax step makes the ATIV automatic PKR 8.9 lacs dearer than the ATIV manual.
1.3 NR makes about 98 hp; 1.5 NR about 106 hp, both at 6,000 rpm.
5-speed manual or 7-speed CVT with Sport Sequential Shiftmatic.
476-litre boot, which is large for the class, and a 42-litre tank.
4,425 mm long on a 2,550 mm wheelbase, on 185/60 R15 tyres.

Safety
What is known about this car's safety in Pakistan
Three SRS airbags on every Yaris - driver, passenger and a driver knee airbag. Toyota prints the count as "3 SRS Airbags (D+P+N)" on its own page.
That is worth holding against the Corolla Altis directly above it in the same showroom, which has two.
Also standard across the range: anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution and brake assist, vehicle stability control, traction control, hill assist control, rear parking sensors, a rear camera and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
What the Yaris does not have, at any price, is driver-assistance equipment. There is no blind-spot monitor, no lane keeping assist, no autonomous emergency braking and no adaptive cruise control on any variant. Ordinary cruise control appears from the ATIV CVT upwards.
Pakistan has no NCAP programme and no crash-testing facility, so the car sold here carries no independent crash rating.
