The BYD Sealion 7 (EV) price in Pakistan is PKR 1.55 crore ex-factory. It claims up to 567 km of electric range.
Prices are ex-factory and exclude freight, registration and withholding tax, so what you pay on the road is higher. Last checked 27 September 2026.
| Variant | Ex-Factory Price |
|---|---|
| BYD Sealion 7 (EV) Advanced Automatic, Electric | PKR 15,490,000 |
The Sealion 7 is imported by Mega Motor Company and launched in Pakistan in January 2026, with prices revealed on 24 January and bookings opening nationwide shortly after. It is BYD's newest battery-electric model here and arrived alongside the smaller Atto 2. Delivery is quoted at roughly one month from order.
This is the first-generation Sealion 7, BYD's electric mid-size SUV - effectively the crossover counterpart to the Seal sedan, sharing its 82.56 kWh Blade battery and rear-drive single-motor layout. Pakistan receives one Advanced trim, corresponding to the single-motor rear-drive specification in export markets; the dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions sold elsewhere are not offered.
Positioned between the Seal Dynamic and the Seal Premium in BYD's own range, the Sealion 7 has in practice become the more logical choice of the three for most buyers: the same battery as the Premium, an SUV body, and Rs 15 lacs less.
Outside the BYD showroom it competes with Lucky Motor's Hyptec HT range and sits above the GAC Aion V. There is no locally assembled electric SUV at this level to compete with it.
A single rear-mounted motor rated at 230 kW (308 hp) and 380 Nm drives the rear wheels through a single-speed reduction gear. The battery is an 82.56 kWh LFP Blade unit, with BYD Pakistan claiming up to 567 km of range; the stricter export-market cycle gives roughly 450 km. BYD quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. DC fast charging runs 30 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes; AC charging on the included 2.2 kW portable unit takes most of a day, with a 7 kW wallbox available as an option. Kerb weight is 2,225 kg.
No Pakistani real-world efficiency or range data exists for this car. It went on sale in January 2026 and there are still no published owner reviews, with fewer than ten used cars listed across the country. The 567 km figure is a laboratory claim, and the roughly 450 km number that circulates in local coverage is also a laboratory figure taken from export-market certification - neither is an observed Pakistani result. Given local highway speeds, summer air-conditioning loads and the absence of any published local test, the honest position is that nobody yet knows what this car does between charges on the motorway.
